House Shape Album video!

This is the video to my House Shape mini album that i did some time ago. I love this album as it

When looking through my blog i see that i have done 3 albums with no videos to them, so next week i will be doing a video of the Teresa Collins "Notations" album, the House mini album as well as the Tradewinds album I've been busy with lately. Stay tuned...

Big "tradewinds" Album

I haven't been posting for a while because i have been very busy lately. But i have had some time last few weeks and decided to make an album, slightly bigger than those i have been doing before. I used the Tradewinds paper collection by DCWV. Love that collection. Got the idea after watching Kathryn's Ustream video of her Travel journal. Will be doing something similar soon. But for now, I made an envelope album and binded it with the Bind-it-all. The size of the album is 6 3/8 x 9, the C5 peal and seal envelopes. This album has space for close to 90 spots for photos and journaling as I created many flaps and pockets with tags and a waterfall pocket.

I used the flap on the envelopes to do many different flats in the album, as well as creating pockets in the album using the flap of one envelope adhered to another envelope. Will do
a video of the album when i am totally finish with it that explains this better.
It still needs some decoration and to be pimped up alittle :)

wow long time no posting... :)

But now i have some time for some creativity so therefore i have decided to make a nice chest box and decorate it with papers by pink paislee and iamroses.com flowers.

I got the idea for the chest from Crafting Clare. She has done a great job on her chest box and give a great template for how to make the box. all photos and template come from her website:

I am gonna do this chest box as it will function as a card and giftholder for a wedding. I will make a score and cut it on the top of the chest so they can put in the envelopes with their gift. I will decorate it with butterfly garden papers as the theme colors are gold and peach. i will decorate the chest with peach flowers, and ad some of the pinish ones Bunma sent as a gift.

Got the TC Notations kit!!

Now I've got the TC kit Notations home, went to pick it up from postoffice yesterday. The papers are in such a good quality and i love it. All TC kits are totally different when it comes to paper, that is why i love her kits, besides you can never fail with tc album kits, they are so well done and come with so many things they always end up really pretty. I have saved some cardstock from previous 8x8 7gypsies paper pads and will use them in this album to give more colour to it. Unfortunatly i paid much more in shipping than it say on the package and when i got it it was dirty package and also a scratch on the black album. But I am planning to cover it so that is ok. I just hope more online scrap stores think of these things to ad more quality to their service. Otherwise i am happy with the purchase. I know this collection comes with 12x12 papers but since the album is small i will not order any to avoid cut in the papers and kinda ruin them. Instead i will be using the coloured cardstocks to ad more space for photos and journaling.

Yaaay i just ordered the TC Notations memory album kit! This album kit is stuffed with all possible goodness that you would need for an album to look perfect.

Album Kit includes: album in black, 3 sheets of dividers, 3 sheets of die-cuts, 10 cards, 17 small journal die-cuts, alphabet stickers and 1 envelope

. Great for who has a huge family. Since we get an album included i was planning to buy black photo album paper which are thick cardstock papers and put in as well in the album for extra space for photos and use the 10 cards to write on instead. Luckily the album has no bind-it-all binding but 3 rings, so i can easily just punch 3 holes and put in which is great news to me who do not own a bind-it-all machine. The size of the album is 9 1/4 x 8 1/4. A youtube clip of the kit.

inspiration for this album. Loved it!!!

I ordered this kit right after i found out that the SMASH book will be delayed due to manufacturing issues for few weeks, this will be a nice comforting in the waiting for the SMASH book.

Now that spring is around the corner and we have plenty of birthdays and parties i felt like making cupcakes, so i ordered few things to help me making cupcakes and i ordered from kakburken.se which has really good prices on everything regarding baking. I ordered 3 tips as i dont know how they will look to be on the safe side and blue sugar paste, gold shimmer and other stuff. Looking forward to make. Now all i need is some good recipe. I also ordered mango, mint, pear and tutti-frutti aroma for extra taste in the frosting from borgebykryddgard.jetshop.se . I am excited!!

House-shape mini album!

Finally done with my house shaped mini album!! It took so much time, because i dont have any die cut machine i cut every piece by hand in this mini album, all chipboard and designed paper aswell. I wanted it to look like a house when u look at it from front. I tried to cut different shapes until i was happy with it. So this is the result of my hard work :) but i enjoyed every minute. My family decided to buy a new house and i am planning to put in all the planing, photos and journaling along the way. These are the videos that inspired me to make the house mini house this way! Click the photos to make it bigger. This mini album has over 60 sports for photos and journaling, both big and small.

The paper used in the mini album is the complete paper crafting kit by Cosmo Cricket, the Earth Love kit and also papers by imaginisce as it had autumn theme, and the colours and papers with leaves on are just perfect for my trees. The kit came with 12 design papers, 18 element card, 8 borders and 19 cardstock stickers and i used almost everything.

The front page is the housedoor and window that i made out of a jounaling card and put glossy acent on to make it shiny like a window.

Through out the mini i have half pages for extra journaling and photo spots.

I made a mailbox by cutting out a shape of a mailbox, took me some time to get it the way i wanted.

This waterfall pocket i made my watching kathryns tutorial video on yt, a great tutorial! I made a change my putting extra tags in it aswell for more place for photos and journaling.

I loved making the tree but it was tough cutting out all leaves on the other side of the tree.

A house need a trash can.

Not to mention the tv! :)

One thing i love about youtube is to see all scrap fellows scrap/craft rooms. They are so well organized and look amazing despite everything in there and it is really stuffed with everything. Now, i dont think that i will have a scraproom anytime soon however in my future scraproom i would def want to invest in a good shelfsystem or bookcase inwhich everything will fit. I went to Ikea today which is one of my favorite stores and saw the EXPEDIT bookcase series, loved it!!!

It came in different sizes and i liked the no 1 best. Of course, they come in different sizes and shapes as no 6 & 7. No 1 is a favorite because of the two spaces in the middle section for 12x12 paper pads :) No 2 is the desk section that can also be used as the space where u scrap and easy reach stuff in the bookcase. No 3,4,5 are all different inserts into the squared areas in the shelving unit. You can chose from insert with one door, with 2 drawers or shelf inserts like no 4 and of course different colors as well. Possibilities are endless and i cant wait until i get my hands on one of these and start organize my scrapcorner!! Best thing is that it is very pricey, everything for me would cost around 150 £ the way i wanted mine to be!! Press the picture for a bigger size.

I love recycling and often you can find very good things you can reuse for scrapbooking. At my work we deal alot with chipboard so instead of throwing away these lovely chipboard i decided to use it for making albums. They are approx 50cm x 70 cm so they are very big but not the thickest chipboard which works perfectly for cutting. So start recycle and you will find plenty of goodies to use for your projects.

Vintage mini album and altered dress forms

This is my latest project. Well i finished it some time ago but just did not have time to make a video so i took photos and made it into a video. It is a paper bag mini album using 2 collections by 7 gypsies paper pads, the gypsy market and Savannah. I think they work perfectly together and i tried to embellish it sparsely, but it looks big anyways. I love Kathryn's paper bag minis and have done several of them now. Next is a baby mini album for a close friend.

One thing i dont like about certain is that you cant really see all of it, like these journaling pads. I haven't seen all the journaling stickers yet i decided to buy so now i will show all the different stickers that are included as i know it is not available otherwise. It is always good to see inside the products aswell. As some of these can be incorporated in projects aswell where you use different collections.

Making you self - A cupcake stand

I have decided to make my own cupcake stand as i did not found any good ones to buy and that can hold many cupcakes. This one can approx take over 50 cupcakes, not the biggest ones but a normal size. It is made out of cardbord. I simply looked for templates on how to do yourself online an dfound some pretty good websites that affored free download instructions. So i simply tried to follow and also buy improvising. I have painted it with white acrylic paint. The edges will be hidden by adhering 6mm wide satin ribbon. It really looks nice to me and it feels special cus it is homemade :)

I was so upset cus i did not have time to make my best friend a minialbum, but angel arlene posted a yt video on a supereasy and fun card/minialbum so i decided to make it as birthdaycard with pockets to put in vouchers of different kinds that will be our gift to my bestfriend (we will be 4 girls splitting it) at the same time a very minialbum as it will have some photos aswell. All in one card. I had such great time making it. I hope she will like it!!

Pjuuu... what a job!! i just finished my homemade cupcake stand! that was not easy, but i did it.

It was alot of cuting and tejping. But i am still not done, this is just the structure. Tomorrow i will go and buy gluegun and fasten all areas and after that i was thinking buying spraypaint in white. Or if i have time to paint it with white acrylic paint. The edges will be covered with 6 mm satin ribbon.

I just went to pick up my package from Craftie Charlie ( http://www.craftie-charlie.co.uk/)
because i ordered the complete paper crafting kit by Cosmo Cricket, the Earth Love kit and it is so pretty and i love all the nature colours. I have planned to make a house mini album and it is inspired by two ladies (will post later about that). But i have so many mini pages so the papers in the kit are not enough and i went to my local shop (hobbyglädje) and fortunatly they had some new gorgeous paper that fit my house mini perfectly, namely the paper by imaginisce as it had autumn theme, and the colours and papers with leaves on are just perfect for my trees that i will putting in the album. I bought the kit because i wanted to use up all my papers as i never like to store papers and therefore never buy full paper packs but as much as i will be in need of, and with the kit came 12 design papers, 18 element card, 8 borders and 19 cardstock stickers. It would cost alot more if i bought them individually, so i only bought the ready set chip as extra. The papers by imaginisce are so pretty and i will be starting doing my album right away. As i was going to the post office so many people were out buying last minute i guess presents and i just loved seing so many people out and the wonderful christmas feeling, although i dont celebrate this holiday myself, but i do some decorations and it feels so good with all the colors and christmas music :)

Sizzix petal die template for 3 different mini albums

I have seen the cutest three minis today and immediately i wanted to try out these tiny minis as well. Bona uses her Sizzix Petal Card Die but since i dont have any dies nor a diecut machine i often cut out design paper by using my own homemade templates so i created a template looking like the die. The good thing is she show how the die cut paper looks like in the end of the video, so i basically took a lid of a jar and traced it and cut out, then i traced that piece 4 times on four sides on a bigger paper and then i had my petal paper ready to be used as a template on the design papers. I want to do the heart shaped mini, it was very cute and the pocket mini album as well. So thank you Bona for the inspiration.

Since i have not seen any chipboard album that would due for my house mini album, i decided to cut out myself using my guiliotine by tonic studios, it works great with thick chipboard like the one i am using for this mini album. I bought the cutter from Jen at liveteachcreate, and i am very happy with it. I tried out the templates on pink paper and when i as happy with it i cute out chipboard pieces aswell. Now all i have to do is to find a paper collection + emelishments that fit a house mini album. Any suggestions ladies?

While looking at different mini albums, i came across Belinda Akers holloween mini album on yutube, and decided that i want to use her mini album shape to make a summery house mini album. I scetched a template which will be used for later.

It is a totall of 8 pages, a house cover (page 1), house page 2, pae 3,4 will be simple squared pages, Page 5 willbe a house with chimney, page 6,7 will b regular squared andlast page another biggr house page (nr 8 ). Planning to tihs next year as i am super busy rigth now.

New Maja Design - ska vi ta en fika- paper here!!

I have to say that i love the the Swedish mail system, easy and quick! So i ordered the Maja Design paper and i got it 3 days ago, but due to the snow i have not had time or will to go to the mail office and pick up the package, so i did finaly today as i had to go and buy ingredients for a lovely fish meal i will be cooking today, its friday and we should all celebrate!!

One thing that i am really happy about is the sticky dubble sided tape. I got the big roll for ca 2 $, cus i ordered over 100 kr, whish is a great deal, cus i still have some left from the one i ordered like months ago and i use it alot. This paper collection is perfect for those scrappy ladies that love drinking Coffee or Tea :)

The Ella Blue papermini album by GCD Studios. I love their collections. This particular one i bought some time ago, and i got the paper bag mini album idea from lovely Kathryn who's ideas i love and use in my minis. this album was inspired by her holloween in wonderland mini album. I kept it simple as it has vibrant colours and patterns and did not want to overembelish it, but have used metal embelishments and rub-ons, some bling and distressed edges. This lovely swedish design papers are out now and i cant wait til i get my hands on it. I love the colors and the design. So far i have seenit on scraplagret.se adn they give a fair deal on dubble side sticky tape so i think i will buy few papers. I will not buy the whole collection as it costs over 40 dollars, so i will buy ony few papers. Usually i dont like to buy whole collections as i dont like to stock up to much. Besides i have a big move comming up soon so i will try to organize a scraproom once i move. Then i will have more time for scrapbooking as well. Lately i have been doing few albums that will come up soon i hope.

Dress form by popalicioustoo altered

I have been very busy right now but took some time and altered one of the 3 dress forms i recieved from popalicioustoo. These dressforms are made out of wood and great to alter. I have seen Bona do it and ordered some of the dress forms after i saw sincerelyyoursboutiqs youtube clips 1 and 2 of dressforms:

After i saw this clip i ordered som dress forms right away becaus i loved how hers turned out. And at popalicioustoo they were so kind and send me an extra one with some goodies, so thank you for that.

The dress form below is the one i altered. I used the design paper from the ella blue collection for the body and foot. First i cut out the papers by putting the heartfoot and body on and traced around, then i edged the papers and distressed with vintage photo ink. I stamped with frensh script stamp by prima on the body and foot usind perfect medium, and coloured with perfect pearls in copper over. Then i put some prima bling on and the gardenia flower from iamroses together with a leaf. I also used some lace under the flower and used a tim holz cherise thingy :) After that i put rock candy paint on the body and foot paper to give it a crackeled texture. Until they dried i coloured the wood dress form by using black water colour paint together with iredescent medium. it turned out really good. i put rock candy on the sides of the body and foot as well. In the end i adhered the design papers by using mod podge.

i just went to pick up my package i recieved from Bunma with iamroses.com . She has some amazing flowers, such as gardenias, roses, hydrangias etc. And their so pricy and the shipping is only 5 cent per flowerspackade, really nothing at all. She also sent me some extra flowers, thank you so much Bunma, and esp for the amazing customer service. these gardenias are ca 1,5 inch and each package has 25, for like 4,5 $, really good price so go and check it out ladies and you will get some really good quality flowers.

New Teresa Collins paper for my family gratitude album

When i got my family gratitude kit that i ordered from my paperpantry and i started to put together the album, i knew that 6 plastic photocovers will not be enough for this huge mini as i have so many photos to put in. Luckily i found an online store that sold the paper in this line individually so i bought some more photoprotectors as well as some papers that were not included in the kit. I cant wait til i get these papers and for me to put it in the album. Once i finish i will make a video.

New stamps and a small haul

Today i went to do some shopping as i needed some notebooks and new pen and pencils.
Luckily, the store had 50 % of everything, including their scrapbooking items, so i bought 3 letter stamps, and small inkpads and some embossing powders as i have used almost all of my clear ones. I bought the embossing powder in bridal white with glitter, silver pearl and clear, brown and copper. I also bought a tiny attacher, the one with elephant on and attacher refills. they are really small and just like the tim holtz attacher, both for like 2 dollars. So now i dont need to buy a th attacher :)

I have to say that i love to try out mini albums that inspire me. So far i have been trying to make minis inspired by Kathryn and Stephanie and Sandra. They are so talented and always give me ideas to further develope myself and put my own personalized touch to the minis i make. This time i made a mini with love theme. The original one (video below) is made by Sandra P as an engagement mini album, and i just fell in love with it when i first saw it. Unfortunatly i could not use same fonts as she used as i dont have any cricut machine but i am pretty pleased with the one i created.

I have just come home from a month abroad, i attended a summercourse in UK, and it was wonderful, i took so many photos, and cant wait to get the photos so i can start put them in my tc album. While being away i have not had any time to scrap, and i missed doing it as it helps me to relax and think of something else for a moment, when you need some time to just chill and not to think of everyday life which can be soo busy. I was looking around online and found some new papers that i dont have and ordered them. I knew by the time i get back home i can go and pick up the package which i did today :)

The first 2 collections are by GCD Studios, the "Paris Nights", and the "Ella Blue". They are dubble sided with textured linnen finish and some of teh papares are flocked and distressed. An elligant and beautiful pattern. I simply love these 2 collections. But one thing i dont like with some online shops are they way the sell some products. These 2 collections come in pack of 48 but the sellers sell them in packs of 12 sheets and you still pay a very high price for it. The same goes for the last collection the La Papier by My mind's eye. It is just not fair that just beacuse we who dont live in US, we have to pay such a high price for less than half of the amount. Oh well :) At least we get the products. My fav online shop is still SImonsaysstamp but they dont have all the brands unfortunatly.

My next much loved Teresa Collins kit that i already made an album of came few days ago and i was so thrilled to get it. I thought i would not be home and miss to pick it up from the mailoffice, but now i have it and the albumis so gorgeous!!! i was so excited to get the package. I ordered it from yourpaperpantry and Roxy was so helpful, thank you!! I got inspired by Samanthas yt clip of her TC album and i ordered the kit the same day.

So, this is the finished Family gratitude album by teresa collins. Her papers are so elegant and detailed in the right way and it has full of room for both journaling and photos. i did not follow her instructions as i wanted to use the papers as much as possible both sides. the papers are not as steardy as the travel ledger but in photoprotectors, it works just fine.

I went to my local scrapbookstore and they helped me with it so i am pleased i have a ready album before i start my adventure :) enjoy the video of the album i made, can hardly call it a mini album ;)I am in love with TC papers and collections. Here is a quick project i just made in less then few hours. I found a great tutorial video by Roxyfur on youtube. Watch and give it a try. I actually enjoyed it alot as it took only one 12x12 papersheet to create a mini album!! The size of it is 3x3 and supereasy to do, only score, cut and fold :) Some photos of my folded 3x3 mini album. Btw i used the iridescent medium on my roses to get that shimmer and they look gorgeous!!

I have been playing and using the iridescent medium and i love shimmers paint. So i decided to make some roses and flowers that are a bit shimmery. I just took a brush and put some of the medium of the edges of the petals anf around the edges of the prima roses. I love the shimmer effect. The flowers color still shines through.

Iridescent medium and watercolors to create homemade shimmerspaint..

Yesterday on my way home from uni, i went to buy some watercolors as i have found a superfun youtubeclip which shows how you can create you own shimmerspaint, simply by first spraying some water on the watercolor and then putting some iridescent medium on and just blend to create the shimmery paint. Watch the clip below. In my local hobby stores none had the medium so i had to search online and order it. I found a website that actually delivers to Sweden and the shipping rates were cheap. A new paper collection i have seen and feel i just must have is the GCD Studios new Ella Blue. It is sooo vintage and the colors combination is absolutely perfect and i would love to make few wedding albums for gifts this summer. The paper pad consists of 48 double-sided premium designer papers and the collection has 4 sheets of each design. It has a linen Textured Finish. In the show she makes the entire mini album, and it looks super amazing, so i tried out the technique myself and this is the endresult. New Sweet Mini

This is my lovely mini, which I have been working on lately. I was very happy to find some time my very hectic life; my final thesis is done and handed in, which is such a relief. Now I can focus on other important things.
This mini is of a paper line that I simply have fallen in love with. It is the Crea Diem by Maja design. Lovely papers. They are just the right pastel tones that I like; otherwise I am a vintagy style scrapper.
In this mini I used only the Crea Diem papers, and 2 velum papers, one in sky-blue and one in clear with music notes. I just used embellishments, ribbons, tags, ribbons, stickers, buttons etc, I have received form Sandra and diamondrose and from my stash. But the prima flowers on the cover I recently bought, very expensive but this will be a special mini album, so I wanted to make it as perfect as I could.

This is my first mini album kit that i recieved and i actually liked it alot. I will definetly buy some mini album kits. This one diamondrose123 on youtube sent me, and i simly love all elements in this kit. I have already started to put this mini together. I dont know what papercollection it it, but i love the colors. everything match perfectly and i also got a storagebox for small things, it was soo cute of her to send it. 1.Firstly i would like you all scrapsisters to know how glad i am to have met you all online and got to know you ladies. I am very thankful for that and the this community that brought us all closer and enabled us to meet friends from all over the wourld we have so much fun together and great ideas and tips to share. and i truly believe that shared joy is a double joy. So thank you ladie sfor being so sweet and for being you.

2.I also enjoy spending time with my family, as they are my number one everything. No matter what happenes they alway scome first and then teh rest. I am really blessed for having such a great family. from the youngest to the olders, we are the same and have so much fun together all the time.

3.I love to scrap as i am fulltime student and dont have time to do alot of other activities as they take time, and i also love colors and crafting, but i really started with scrapbooking march 2009. wow times fly!!

4.My fav color is brownish earth colors, nature greens and blues. My scrapstyle is vintage so everything that is falls in the range for being vintage i love.

5. I am the only child and therefore you would think i am spoiled, but i am actually not!! But my parents did a very good job i must say :)

6.I will have a 4 years master in business administration by the end of august, yaay.

7. i love watching movies, and during tiring evenings i love to sit and watch a movie while eating vegies and a nice dip. favite genre is horror movies :) but my all time favorite movie is a walk to remember, i cried so much!!

8.i am not very good at working out or i have not had the time actually, but i have decided to walk more and work out or go to the gym as i have had backproblems. Besides who doesnt want to have a nice beach body :)

9.one of my passions is food, i loooove thai food. one of my favorite restaurants here is chilli thai, yum yum i also love to cook with friend, i actually did a traditional dish, dollma yesterday for the first time, and they came out great!!

10. I love being outside in teh nature. A dream scenario is to be able to scrap outside, however i saw on youtube that one of teh ladies tried that out and it was not so successful :)

I got a package.... ha ha i am thinking of Arlene when she recieves a package :) in her youtube videos, so sweet :) Anyways i finally got my package from Sandra, with my stamps that i asked her to order for me. She faund a great deal, and it is really a great deal. All the Tim Holtz visual artistry clear stamps, the 7 sets for only 34 dollars, shipped free to her. I cant believe i have all the stamp sets. I simply love Tim Holtz and his stamps, and these will be used soo much.
And Sandra, all the goodies you sent!! omg they are soo perfect for minis and for another trip to be written down and recorded. Thank yo soo much, you are such an angel for helping me so much. I love everything you sent, and will definetly have fun creating with them :)

Lovely lovely tags :) i am so in love with tags right now. Whenever i find time in my very hectic life right now, i want to scrap, and as´I dont have time for minis i do something else that i have become very found of, TAGS!!!

This one i did last week but i did not have time to post it on my blog as i have been super busy. This tag is made out of paper from the graphic 45 collection "Baby 2 bride". I simply love it and will do a wedding album of it, i just need the whole collection first as I dont have all the papers. I used a regular cardstock tag as template and cut out the shape of the designed paper. I cut out two, the other one is adhered to the bag of this one to give it more strength and another paperdesign. the first thing i did was to use my prima frensh script stamp which i love most of all my stamps :) and stamped it directly on with perfect medium and used pearls shimmer powder. Sprayed with hairspray to adher the shimmer powder. Then distressed the edges with tattered rose ink and distress powder. Finally i put on distress stickles. I put on some lace, and a die cut form the collection. put some roses and ribbons. As a final touch i used prima pearls and a charm hanging in garment pin.

the backside i used another designed paper. On top of it i another designed paper folded in half to creat two pages. Adhered it to the tag. On the packside of the upper page i adhered a small paperbag where i could put another tag in. The paperbag i glimmer misted with vanilla breaze and also used the french script stamp on and bronze shimmer powder. So i had many spots for journaling and photos in this tag. This stamp on the front page is absolutely gorgeous, u have to tell me what brand it is Sandra :) it is one of them stamped journalingspots u sent me. To close the folded pages i put a small ribbon and tajped it behind the page and used some prima bling an dflowers. Right now my favorite embelishments are charms, prima flowers and prima bling, simly makes all layouts beautiful by using these.

The tags that i have been busy with these last days:

this orange tage i used shimmer mist from joannasheen.com and the orange roses are bought from the 9000 year old city Jericho in Palestine, that is pretty cool right :) the leavs, lace ribbon and brad are all parts from swaps and raks. In this tag i used my french script stamp with vesamark and used pearls inbrown and stapmed roses on the corners with staz on, i sprayed it afterwards. The edges are edged with a sissor and distressed with vintage photo distress ink. The ticket i but distress stickles on the edges.

The greentag i used the glimmer mist sandra sent me. o took some drops and put some water in to make it a lighter shade and colored the tag with a brush. Then i used distress ink in peeled green color of for the edges and then distressed with vintage photo. I also useed the prima script stamp on this one but accedently used it up side down, luckely it does not show clearly my misstake :) i colored the lace with the glimmer mist with the olive and vanila breeze colors and used a tim holtz tag. Put some bling on and some prima flowers. A garment pin and charms aswell and finally ribbons, all by Sandra!

The pink tag i used tattered rose and mild lavender inks and edged it with utee mixed with glitter. Stamped love with red ink pad. Put some ribbons by Claudia and brad. The old lace a love and a handmade rose by Sandra.

ok, next big thing i have started to learn creating is tags, it is so much fun!!! At first when i saw all swaps with tags i thought naa nothing for me, i like to have big space where i can put photos and journaling but after seeing arlenes tags and also the ones Jade made i have simply fallen for this technique aswell, espcially after recieving many tags in my packages lately,s o thank u ladies for sending tags to me, i had only 2 before now i have bunch of them. And of course i had to make some tags after watching arlenes tags so these three are influeced by her tags and the one jade did for her valentines tag swap. Btw the one Arlene made for Rina is absolutely gorgeous, i simply love the colours she used. I have found that i lately purchase supplies after what she has been using in her projects. So tahnk u ladies for ur tutorials, it has been a great help while doing my tags :)

the dubble-sided tape, one good deal!!

The dubble-sided tape i showed in an earlier post is a good deal. I bought it and it lasts for a long time, it comes in 2 sizes 3 mm and 6 mm, the photo is of the 6 mm roll. the lenght is 50 m = 164 feet. the price for one of those rolls are 25 kr which is app 3,5 dollars. it can be ordered from the online scrapstore scraplagret. their terms and conditions in english for international buyers.

new products that are a must have in ur scrapbook collection.

The dubble-sided tape, 6 mm, i love it!! and do u see how thick it is. it is just like tacky tape, but so much more. it is cheaper compared to tacky tape as u get almost nothing on the tacky tape role compared to this one :) it works for everything aswell.

The french script stamp from prima, great deal !! it is big and fairly cheap as it covers a big space compared to other script stamps i have seen. And it comes out really good, i have done a tag that i will post a photo of later. I dont have big acrylic blocks so i use regular glasplates like the one next to the stamp. works perfect as a block to adhere stamps one while stamping, just another tip!

Finally!!! i got tmy baby 2 bride papers from graphic 45 :) however it is not the whole collection. so i have to find rest of the papers or find a place that sells the whole paper pad. it came as a part of Claudias swap kit to me. i will have so much fun creating with my new stuff. have already played and made a tag with the stamp set. This is the cover of my new new blue tilda mini album, yes that is what i will call it the "blue tilda" mini :) i love it!!!

Another Tilda collection, i am simply in love with Tilda!!! this one is frosted bluegreen, so cute. i have already sent out two small packages to 2 friends.

A new collection that i bought from our local scrapbook store is the "Crea Diem" by Maja Design. I simply love it. the whole paper can be used, even the boarder on the bottom of the paper with name of the design and brand. In this collection that strip has a boarder design on the backside so when u cut of u can simply use it to, very cleaver !!! On the design strip it is written in latin different sentimants, and on the information side it is written what those lating sentenses stands for in swedish, so i simply love this collection. i bought 10 papers.

The cover to 7gypsies mini album i am making by using the old collection journey milano and some basic grey papers aswell. one of the photos doesnt want to be horisontal. so basically the cover made using a design paper by 7gypsies. then i put one of the diecuts sandra sent me together with the 7gypsies stickers. And the text stickers says" Everyday holds the possibility of a miracle". To adhere the diecut i mod podged everything and using decoupage technique that sandi sent me, thanks Sandi :) then i embossed the sides with utee in copper.

I love the simple look but yet it feels old an dvintage and elegant :)

Finally i received my big box from Sandra P. I have been abroad on a very interesting trip with my class and when i came home this lovely box was waiting for me. And i could not wait to see what was in. Some weeks ago me and Sandra agreed on a swap and here it is!!!

I have been doing a mini album the last couple of days, which is not for me, it is for somebody else! I have never been doing that and expecting one in return. Well me and Awalkinthecloudswithsandra decided that we would swap a mini album. She was so kind to give this great idea, after she asked me if i have done any swap before. I havent and i am actually a little nervous to do so, as i dont now if i am good enough yet. So she encouraged me to go ahead and do one and she would do one aswell. So i finished mine and i love doing the mini. It is much more fun to do for somebody else actaully :)

after talking t o her, and i was planning the mini, i decided to have no special theme of the mini, more memories kind of mini, and lots of bling bling and the color blue and a little vintagy. The idea was that i would try to use different techniques. Some did not turn out as i wanted. so here it goes:

the cover, i kept rather simple, some flowers and leaves, the metal part of them are hidden and tejped to the photoframe. added ribbon to hide it, i did not use prima flowers as i didnot have in the color i wanted, so i decided to use these roses instead. A photoframe in beige and felt swirls, where two photos can be tucked in from the top. added some blue ribbon on the bindingrings for more effect and more color. i found the flowers empty and plane so i embossed it with glitter and stickles. put a rub-on on : memorable moments. I used the blue awning collection by K&Co.

First page i teared the paper to show the corrugated cardstock and glimmer misted it. added some prima. A photo can be tucked behind the ribbon on teh photomap. S & R for their initials.

page 2, put a photomap and an envelope which i made myself, i made my own templated. I did not have a clip so i decided to make one, it is made out of a swedish penny in copper. we will not have them as they will remove pennies from the system by fall.

page 3 i used this paper that i bought from the local store because i wanted mor e texture and dimension to the page. the background is a sheet made out of cork, i tought it would be cool to use it.

I glimmer misted the flowers with the cosmic shimmer mist, and it is very cute and a bit dark in color. loved it.

Next is a half page, with textbook tiered side and i used an old meter measurer or what ever they are called :) a photo can be tucked in there.

next page, i stamped a clock.

created a pocket by cutting teh paper alond the design and made tags out of the papers a bought.

this page is somple, i made the name initial by using utee and crack it afterwards and glitter on teh sides. a photo can be tucked in behind the journal spot.

i made this envelope myself. the tag i used stamp and utee to creat resist embosse effect

the reminder of design paper i made a pocket out of and put a tag in.

i kept this page simple because it is so cute, did noy want to cover it.

I bought these things at the local store to add more blue to the mini album. the cosmic shimmer is from joann sheen. i did not distress pages more than necessary as i wanted to keep focus on the blue color.

These are my favorite paper collections, my favorite brands are K&Co and DCWV. However i like prima papers as well. as it seem, i think i will recieve a package with these paper pads in a few

weeks. Angels exists :). will also recieve ornates and questions pad.

Finally my package arrived from craftie-charllie.co.uk. I had fun opening the envelope, it feels great to buy gifts to yourself :)

I had ordered some old collections by k&Co. The 6x6 mckenna and bailey paper pads. I love it, but unfortunatly there are no texture, glitter or anything on teh papers. All items were wrapped with pink silk paper, so cute. One thing i loved was the rub-on pads. The Brenda walton, the ancestry.com and the wild raspberry. they came in 12, 18, 12 sheets respective. They are so adorable. No where online or any other oneline store show photos of each sheet,s o it was a surprise when i looked through the pads, and i loved all of them. Maybe i shoudl show photos?

At a local store i found these adorable photo frames. The swirls are in felt, how adorable. A great idea to incorporate in minis.

I also needed a paper trimmer, so bought this one. it was a pricy one, so for now it will due.

Mini album "Fun Times"

Mini album "Fun Times" This mini was fun to make because at first i did not have any special idea in mind when doing the cover. I did it long time ago when i first got my order from simonssaysstamp and i wanted to try out the prodcuts. I used glimmer mist and distress embossing powder and embossing powder in bronze. it was fun to make it. Then, a couple of days ago i was sorting my papers and found a bunch of left-overs and decided to use it together with the old cover that i made. This is the result of that mini...

The glimmer misted cover.

Page 1, just used some brown paper for background and put a piece of a textbook-side over, ripped it and distressed it. Then embossed with green color a heidi swap damask stamp. The butterfly is cute out with a template and fastened with brad and spinner, abd some pearls in green.

Page 2, I made like a pocket behind the little paper book that canbe opened and closed with the ribbon. when u open there is space for journal and photo, and i stamped right side with TH stamp, think it is the time stamp. a journaling spot on the tag.

Page 3, kept it simple, with just a journaling spot that i cut out. and distressed the lines with distress stickles in mahogny. Made some pearls with liquid pearls.

Page 4, i made a corner pocket but put the opening part upwards, and used some swilrs and copper stickles on them to embelish it. Then i tuck 3 tags in the pocket that are fastened together with a clip. I stamped the big one with a journaling spot.

Page 5, put some ribbon on the sides and flowers. The big flower is bronze embossed and the smaller one with stickels on the edges. I put them together with a pearl brad. The flower holds down the TH tag but it is also stuck to the ribbon with the fastener. A photo can be stuck behind the flower and ribbon.

Page 6, I made a dubble pocket with tags, on one tag there is journaling spot that i stamped on. Put some lace on the top of the tags. Also put a small tag on the pocket cover. Distressed the edges.

Page 7 kept it simple with a tag that can be stucked behind the journaling spot. Put some red pearls on and distressed it.

Page 8, a corner pocket embelished with swirls. A tag which says "It is the things in common that make relationships enjoyable, but it is the little differences that makes them interesting"

Put some damask stamp on the backside of the tag.

Page 9, made a pocket by putting a smaller paper on top of the one that covers the whole page. adhered only 3 sides. Put a big tag there. I also cut along the the flower shape of the smaller paper and tucked three smaller tags there.

Last page is corrugated paper on both sides, i distressed the edges with bronze empossing utee on one side and with mahogny distress stickes on the odther side. I glimmer misted them and but a twine oarund it an dput two tags there. fastened it and put a small tag with a charm.

Yaay I have found a great product to reasonable price. The cosmic shimmer mists which are said to be just like the glimmer mists but cheaper. Well I just made an order and when i recieve them i will use them and give a review of the product. I bought them from Joannasheen.com . The good thing with this website is that they offer free shipping to all countries. The bottles contain 50 ml and cost £2.99 and to me it is fairly price. Lets just hope they ar eshimmery aswell :)

I have been doing lollipop flowers by cuting them out with scrapbook sissors and i really like them. the paper diffenrently than just ripping the paper. I like the way it edges The center of the flower i just cut a circle out of a leftover and but glossy accent on.

circular mini album , 7 Gypsies papers victoria, savannah, gypsy market

I have been doing a circular mini album this time, and it was much of a challenge for me because i dont have any tools to cute round paper and chipboard with. So I have been cutting all papers and chipboard by hand...took looong time...
The paper that I used in this mini are from three different collections by 7 Gypsies, savannah, gypsy market and victoria.

I used this paper as it had nice sentiment on the actual paper so i decided to use it as the cover, then i made velma technique on the flower and covered the binding hole by a prima bling center because i dont have the punchtool nor do i have eyelets.

Second page i used the clocks from tim holtz salvage stickers and put glossy accent on and used a game spinner in teh middle. But i fastened it with glue dots. The tag i sloose you can put a picture under there.

I love this page because it tricks the eye, when you remove the tag the tag pocket seem to blend in in the paper, cool right :). I used the butterfly here.

The clock from 45 graphics, that i lately have used in all my minis so far. Acorrdion so you can drag out it.

I got some scraptime finally this evening and decided to try out my products that i bought. I first did Velmas flower technique which i love and i know many out there also adore. It gives such a neat effect on the flowers or what ever you use this technique on. Then i did butterflies with distress stickles and a game spinner.

First i cut out the butterflies from the designer papper using templates, then i distressed the edges with brown ink pad. Then i applied aged mahogny distress stickles on the small one and tattered rose on the bigger one and fastened them with a game spinner in copper.

This one is a sneak peak of a circular mini album i am working on now.

On the flowers i used two layers of utee and the heat tool to get this effect. I really like how it turned out.

Tonic guillotine paper trimmer

Well I told you that when i ordered the paper trimmer from tonic, i got the
Guillotine paper trimmer instead. Today i used it for the first time, and i tried normal paper, cardstock, chipboard, a piece of the box it came in, and it cut through everything like a piece of cake. some pros and cons that i agree with can be found on this website. So now i am glad about the mix-up and i have to say that i thought it would be a massive bulky tool, but no, its quite small and dont take too much space as i thought it would do. However, i will probably invest in a paper trimmer aswell.

I recieved my papers that i ordered from tradera.se which is like our ebay, and i got a total of 60 papers of this collection. I have already used it in two minies ( previous posts) and just love the paper collection. However my papers are so thin, and i would have appreciated some more details on like embossing or glitter or different texture for some of the papers. That would have made it super cute. However i like these aswell.
